Second Sun Holdings was formed in January 2026 to bring a set of operating divisions under a single corporate parent. Second Sun Media (the original studio, founded 2023) and Second Sun Industries (the AI division) were unified under SSH at formation. We make AI tools, we make photographs and videos, and we expect to make other useful things over time.

The company is privately held and family-operated. We don't take outside investment, we don't sell our customer data, and we own every system we run. The companies under SSH are deliberately kept small enough that the people building the work and the people deciding what to build are the same people.

We're based in Iowa. Most of our work happens at a desk and on a few servers we built ourselves. When we travel, it's to meet clients and partners.
